General FAQs

What is the Country Universities Centre (CUC)?

The CUC is a network of regional study centres that support students undertaking higher education. Any student enrolled in an Australian university or other registered higher education provider is eligible to register and use a CUC centre, regardless of their course or university.

What services does the CUC provide?

Each Centre offers reliable internet, quiet study spaces, printing, computer access, academic skills support, and connection to a community of local students

Does it cost anything to use a CUC?

No, CUC services are completely free.

Where are CUCs located?

CUC Centres are located across regional and rural Australia. Visit our Centre Locations page to find your nearest one.

How is CUC different from a university campus?

CUCs are local support hubs, not universities themselves. Your local CUC partners with your university to help you succeed while staying in your community.

CUCs are not linked to one university, we support students from all higher education institutions.
